Sangeeta is a Human Resource professional with experience in cross-cultural management education & leadership team building. She has an economics graduate degree & a business masters from Delhi, India. Sangeeta has worked with ABC/Accord India in head-hunting for leadership roles in India’s Financial Services & Consulting Top Tier companies. She has also worked in Europe for several years, teaching HR & Cross Cultural management to MBA students at Mendel University, VUT & Masarykova University, Czech Republic.
Over the past decade, Sangeeta has worked on development projects in the Crafts sector, setting up a Rohilla Mohalla training center for handicraft workers in Rampur ( small town in U.P. state of India), providing an education designed to bridge crafts to industry for Small & Micro-Entrepreneurs. Alongside, she documented the supply-chain of several traditional crafts, especially the textile embroidery work. Her work at Rohilla Mohalla project is published in the UP state sponsored book – Textiles trails in Uttar Pradesh – and in an article in National Geographic, India.
Sangeeta has an interest in collecting Picture Postcards since her childhood. Last year, she co-authored a pioneering work – Picturesque India : A journey in picture postcards from 1896 to 1947. A blog & FB Page – India Visual – supports the picture postcard research.
